Shopping for a Dresser | Project 365

While shopping for her bestfriend's gift, she found the one and only dresser she has been looking for and of course, it gotta be PINK!

She said, "Oh, Mommy... I think I found my dresser..."

"I'm pretty sure, this is what I want, Mommy..."

"Oh, Mommy... please..." she begs.

"Well, we'll make daddy buy it for you for Christmas, okay?" I replied, and off we went! hehehe

There's something you got to know about me; I don't spoil my child with toys all the time. I just don't think I should buy her a toy whenever she says she wants one. She got to at least do something for herself, in order to be rewarded with a toy. It is just how I think I should do as a parent and this is how I choose to raise my child. What about do you? Do you buy your child a toy on the spot, every time he/ she asks for one?

Full of Zest | Project 365

Today, my little girl offered herself to be my model. She doesn't do this all the time, you know. And when she does, I know it will be a GREAT session! And it was. She was full of zest!

The Karate Kid | Project 365

It was Allysa's 2nd day of Karate practice yesterday.

She was all set by the time I arrived at her school's gym. She already had her uniform on and oh... she looked so cute in that little white uniform! What surprises me is that my little playful girl can get real serious as and when she thinks she has to; take a look at these pictures.

But when she's back at being herself, this is what she looks like, at karate.

At some points, she had to do push ups too as a punishment for failing to listen to instructions carefully.

More importantly, she learns what discipline and attentiveness mean, something that can be useful to her when she is older. I'm so happy that she gets it :-)
